Bushland

A slow and minimalist album, a succession of electronic phrases like a sutra accompany the entire development of the song.
Before introducing Anatexis, a musical project that I have been developing for a few months, I decided to publish this thin album, made up of a single track
The earth, the open spaces, nature with its balance that dominates the landscape is the source of my inspirations, always. My dominant is not always serene, indeed, I often express nature with grotesque sounds and complicated plots, because analyzing nature well you do not have the idea of a “whole” so peaceful and romantic but every organism, whether plant or animal must constantly fight to gain space and energy. Just think what has been adopted by tillandsias or other epiphytic plants, that is, plants that live on top of other organisms to get closer to the light and obtain nourishment, or xerophytic plants, which to have space have decided to live on hostile terrain, where no one dares…, to give an example from the animal world, just think of some birds that live on top of hippos or buffalo and gain a mutual advantage, in any case all for the battle for survival. The traveler’s eye often rests on places that few know how to seize and then it lingers, sinks into the landscape, the senses fall asleep and receive messages that the body does not always recognize, sometimes with fears that surface, other times like an ecstasy that pervades the back. The intertwining of these senses has produced Bushland, a succession of impetus and minimalism that want to describe the beauty of the open bush and savannahs of Africa, the reverberation of blinding light that does not allow you to focus in the central hours, transforming the landscape into an overexposed photo, expanses of dried golden yellow grass contrast with the red earth characteristic of the continent and the blue of the sky that towers above your head seems like a painting by a painter with a palette of crazy colors.
Bushland has no virtuous pretensions, nor great melodies, only a succession of light chords that recall the warm wind that caresses the grass of the great prairies of the African continent.
I have been fighting for years to raise awareness of the Environment especially to preserve the beauties that are in this immense country, in the hope that even this light Album will contribute to the usual goal.
