The Phoenix Incense
La Fenice Incensi was founded in Trescore Balneario, in the province of Bergamo, as a hobby business.
At a very special moment in my life, in the summer of 2017, I received the first recipe for making incense. From there I began to experiment, with the intention of creating all-natural sticks, which did not contain synthetic scents or other substances whose inhalation is not recommended. As time went by, I developed different flavors and had other people try my sticks. They liked them and from there was born the request that gave birth to La Fenice Incensi.
Intent
My intention is to spread a product that brings people closer to natural perfumes and can give them the opportunity to benefit from plants on an olfactory level.
Natural scents are more delicate, more fleeting, but much deeper. Odors reach the reptilian brain directly, without passing through the cerebral cortex. This allows them to send impressions to our psyche and act on an unconscious level. This is how we benefit from the qualities of plants in aromatherapy, a power that synthetic perfumes lack.
Once you get used to smelling truly natural scents, your nose becomes more sensitive and usually no longer confused.
Furthermore, the intention of La Fenice Incensi is to offer products that respect the environment and that the raw materials of which they are part are sourced ethically.
Incense sticks
Incense sticks are handmade and contain only woods, resins, and natural essential oils. They are Tibetan-style, without a central wooden stick, thus leaving all the space for the aromatic blend, 100% natural. Each stick burns for about an hour.
The sticks are about 13 cm long and are packaged in a glass vial, with a cork.
