Carob CO2 extract (Ceratonia siliqua)

Behind this product there is a little adventure of mine, a trip to Turkey to investigate, discover and establish new contacts.

After discovering the “secrets” of Liquidambar orientalis I move to the center of the country to meet an engineer who builds the stains for CO2 extraction, I immediately put this fascinating machine to the test with a product that is very particular and out of the classic (obviously), the Carob.

Thinking of complete failure, instead, with great amazement, about 100 ml of extract comes out of about 5 kg of pods.

Aroma:

Warm, sweet aroma, similar to cocoa, with hints of fruit in syrup in alcohol.

Very interesting to combine with essential oils or other extracts for your natural perfumes.
