Property
This plant is a natural antiseptic and an expectorant. Furthermore, it is a powerful astringent, antidiarrheal, useful in case of stomatitis and irritable bowel. It has important anti-inflammatory, decongestant and antioxidant properties. Its purifying action on the skin is renowned in Ayurveda. Contraindications: no particular contraindications have been found, as a precaution it is still advisable to avoid use during pregnancy and breastfeeding and not to administer it to children under three years of age.
