Pinus marittimum resin from Tuscany (Italy)

Habitat: Mediterranean, pine forests along the sea coasts.

Aroma: Pungent, balsamic, acidulous.

It seems that the maritime variety is the origin of the domestic pine, which we all know for its characteristic umbrella-like crown.
Therefore the resin has a very similar aroma.
