A true rarity from Namibia, the Omumbungu resin is extracted from a variety of Commiphora (Commiphora kraeuseliana)
This small shrub lives in the margins of the deserts or in the scrublands of the South-West of Namibia, its bearing is low, flattened towards the ground, practically xerophytes, that is, that it lives among the stones.
All the resins of this country that are for sale, at least in my shop, are collected by the Himba people.

Aroma; it has hints similar to Omumbiri (Commiphora wildii) with more sweet variations similar to caramel, licorice, marzipan, sometimes I sink into the memory of some good fruity and slightly peaty Whiskeys, a true symphony of nuances.

The resin is quite soft, rubbery at a temperature of about 25-30 degrees, almost all of the charcoal melts, so it does not need to be pulverized, easy to use.
