This is the wood par excellence as an olfactory reference in Tibetan incenses, since the monks collect and transform only the materials they find around the monasteries, or at least it used to be like that, the Himalayan Juniper, Cedar, Spikenard, are the main products found.

BEHAVIOUR:

Coarse grain size, I import it already pulverized, being rich in resin its wood cannot absorb water during the dough to make the sticks, it will be very complicated to pass through an extruder with 4mm holes if you do not dilute it with other materials. Its aroma is extremely delicious, sweet, candid, almost talc, it is like entering a forest where they have just cut down centuries-old cypresses.

I recommend diluting with a good amount of Makko and in my experience the Linden sapwood is an excellent compromise to improve plasticity, oxygenation without compromising its aromatic profile.
